Alys Thomas is a Franco-British artist. For the past ten years, she has been fully dedicated to documentary photography. Among her notable works, she followed a female bullfighter and documented the training sessions of the football team of the association Autremonde, a project that resulted in a book and an exhibition. In 2022, Alys became interested in generative AI. Inspired by documentary photography, comic books, animated films, and video games, she explores light and humorous themes. Her highly realistic works, such as "A Tale of Silly Walks," blend absurdity and everyday life, imagining places like a small village and events such as an absurd walking competition with recurring characters, and she immerses herself in the project as if it were documentary photography. With a unique sensitivity and a keen eye for detail, Alys Thomas continues to push the boundaries of visual storytelling, capturing the essence of everyday life..
